Stayed for 2 nights, did hope we had a balcony room for smoking but there is a communal balcony right at the reception we could smoke at at any point and have chats with other travellers and the staff! Room was clean as was the private bathroom, beds were so soft just narrow but that's any double bed sleepers issue really. 10 ish minute walk from main square. Would stay again for another short stay!

This was my second time staying at Hotel La Belle Vue and again loved it! Breathtaking view from the triple room with balcony, clean and spacious room, clean bathroom, very kind and helpful staff, great location, luggage storage if needed - no complaints whatsoever. To touch on location more if you stay here you are within a stones throw of the main square with the national monument, also a stones throw away from 2 of arguably the best coffeeshops in Amsterdam which are The Plug Utopia and Terps Army, some other decent ones minutes away are Sativa and Grey Area so if you are someone who indulges in Amsterdams finest herbs you are in for a treat staying at this location with the high quality coffeeshops nearby and absolutely spoiled with proximity to them. I've been visiting Amsterdam for over 10 years now and finally found my home away from home at La Belle Vue, also I forgot the name of the lady at reception but I made a request last minute and she was kindly able to accommodate this which I appreciated so much so just wanted to extend my thanks again. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Great location close to all of the interesting places to visit. Balcony was a big bonus was lovely to sit out in the sunshine and people watch and chill of an evening 👍 room was all you needed really as a base clean and enough space to get back and sleep

The location is 10/10 for Amsterdam! Everything is walkable from this hotel, Food, coffeeshops, shopping.

Great location, really friendly guy at reception, he helped us out with a travel plug as we forgot ours! The bed is super comfortable! Had a great sleep! Balcony was fab!

The location was ideal. Easily accessible by tram from Amsterdam central. Close to Dam Square and Anne Frank’s House.

Friendly 24/7 staff, clean facilities inside & out, efficient housekeeping, nicely sized rooms, long running hot water, extremely central location. What's not to love about this place!

Value for money and location can't be beat. Yes facilities are poor but it's not a 5 start hotel. Great place to stay location wise.

Expectations were low due to the past reviews but honestly my experience was great. Price for what you’re getting is good yes it’s not top standards with all the pretty things but it gets the job done with a great location aswell

This was a very good hotel with great staff, easy check in, great location and perfect room. I stayed in the triple with the balcony and the view was breathtaking, room was big bathroom was clean - perfect! Will only stay here if visiting Amsterdam in future
